Dear Forum Lviv visitors,

For your safety, during special legal martial law status on the territory of Lviv City, the territory of the underground parking of Forum Lviv Shopping Centre is used as a temporary and simplest form of the shelter for the population.

When receiving information by any official means of notification and communication, including a Shopping Centre announcement, about a threat or the occurrence of emergency situations, visitors who are in the Shopping Centre are obliged to follow the following recommendations:

 

 1. IN CASE OF«AIR RAID SIRENS» SIGNAL

1.1. Forum Lviv Shopping Centre temporarily suspends its operation.

1.2. Visitors should:

  • without panic or commotion, immediately leave the premises of the Shopping Centre and, using the instructions of the staff and informational navigation signs, follow the shortest route to the temporary and simplest form of shelter in the underground parking of the Shopping Centre. Visitors can also use other shelters located outside the Shopping Centre (the list of shelters is HERE);
  • when proceeding to the temporary and simplest form of the shelter, let pregnant women, women with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities go through and, if necessary, provide them with assistance;
  • upon arriving to the temporary and simplest form of shelter, stay in specially designated places, separated by a limiting signal tape and information navigation signs, and without immediate need not go beyond these designated places until the time of receiving the “AIR SIREN ALL CLEAR” signal;
  • while staying in the temporary and simplest form of shelter (underground parking), follow staff instructions, rules of behaviour in the Shopping Centre, rules of behaviour in public places, rules of hygiene.

1.3. Access to the temporary and simplest form of the shelter is available on a daily basis and around the clock during the air raid sirens. Entrance is done from Tsekhova, Pid Dubom, and Dzherelna streets.

1.4. Only pedestrians can access the temporary and simplest form of the shelter.

1.5. The premises of the parking can be used as a temporary and simplest form of the shelter for the population only during the period of the greatest danger and subject to strict compliance with the rules of conduct by visitors.

 

 2. IN CASE OF “CHEMICAL THREAT”SIGNAL

2.1. Forum Lviv Shopping Centre temporarily suspends its operation.

2.2. Visitors should:

  • without panic and commotion, immediately leave the premises of the Shopping Centre and, using the instructions of the staff and, by the shortest route, proceed to a safe area outside the zone of possible chemical contamination, determined by the local authorities;
  • while proceeding to a safe area:
    • let pregnant women, women with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities go through and, if necessary, provide them with assistance;
    • do not run on the street, do not touch any objects, do not step in puddles, do not eat or drink anything;
    • if necessary (the presence of an odor), protect the respiratory organs with personal protective equipment (gas masks) or cotton-gauze bandages, towels, own clothes, moistened with water or better with a 2-5% solution of baking soda (in case of chlorine damage), acetic or citric acid (when affected by ammonia);
    • arrange clothes to leave as little exposed skin as possible. If available, wear safety glasses;
    • upon entering the affected area, leave the affected area as quickly as possible, moving across the flow of air or wind;
    • when moving via transport, close the doors and windows of the transport and turn off the air conditioner. Turn on the radio, listen carefully to further instructions.
  • upon coming at the shelter of a safe area, follow the instructions of the responsible persons.

 3. IN CASE OF«RADIATION HAZARD» SIGNAL

3.1. Forum Lviv Shopping Center temporarily suspends its operation.

3.2. Visitors should:

  • without panic or commotion, immediately leave the premises of the Shopping Centre and, using the instructions of the staff and informational navigation signs, follow the shortest route to the temporary and simplest form of shelter in the underground parking of the Shopping Center. Visitors can also use other shelters located outside the SC (the list of shelters is HERE);
  • when proceeding to the temporary and simplest form of the shelter, let pregnant women, women with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities go through and, if necessary, provide them with assistance;
  • upon coming to the temporary and simplest form of shelter, stay in specially designated places, separated by a limiting signal tape and information navigation signs, and without immediate need not go beyond these designated places until the time of receiving the “RADIATION HAZARD ALL CLEAR” signal;
  • while staying in the temporary and simplest form of shelter (underground parking), follow staff instructions, rules of behaviour in the Shopping Centre, rules of behaviour in public places, rules of hygiene.

3.3. Access to the temporary and simplest form of the shelter is available on a daily basis and around the clock during the radiation hazard. Entrance is done from Tsekhova, Pid Dubom, and Dzherelna streets.

3.4. Only pedestrians can access the temporary and simplest form of the shelter.

3.5. The premises of the parking can be used as a temporary and simplest form of the shelter for the population only during the period of the greatest danger and subject to strict compliance with the rules of conduct by visitors.

The operation of the SC can be resumed on the condition of receiving the signal “AIR SIREN ALL CLEAR”, “CHEMICAL THREAT ALL CLEAR”, “RADIATION HAZARD ALL CLEAR” from the Department of Civil Protection of the Lviv Regional Military Administration by official sources and on the condition that the territory on which the SC is located does not fall into the zone chemical pollution and the decision is taken on the basis of the general situation that has developed in the territory of Lviv city.
