School days will soon come, and with them – the need to be more responsible and independent for every student.
In modern conditions, basic knowledge of safety and maintaining one’s own health has become essential not
only for adults, but also for children. And it is necessary to correctly and clearly convey this information to the
smallest, which is what we will do in the new kids program “Prepare for school and explore the world of professions”.
Classes will be conducted by experienced specialists in the kids area Forum Lviv Dino Park on the Second floor.

The program includes:
- September 02, 12:00-16:00 — World of Professions: Beauty field.
Aqua painting for everyone.
- September 02, 16:00-18:00 — World of Professions: Field of psychological assistance.
We invite you to participate in the art therapy family class “How to cope with anxiety at school and help yourself” by psychologist-pedagogue Nataliya Datsenko.
- September 02-03, 12:00-14:00. — World of Professions: Restaurant industry.
Children are invited to a culinary master class on making fresh rolls by Tomatina restaurant.
Little chefs will immerse themselves in the interesting world of the chef profession. They will prepare themselves
fresh rolls according to the chef’s signature recipe. Each participant will receive a certificate of completion of the
master class as well as their own fresh roll.
The master class will be held at the food court, on the Second floor, near the Tomatina restaurant.
- September 02-03, 12:00-19:00 — World of professions: Restaurant industry —ice cream from Fayni Liody.
Children participating in the “Preparing for School and the World of Professions” program will be treated with ice
cream by Fayni Liody. In order to get ice cream, you need to present at Fayni Liody in Forum Lviv (First floor) a Kids
Club member’s card with a stamp proving the participation in activities during September 02-03.

Shopping centre visitors can get their hair braided.
- September 02, 13:00-16:00; September 03, 12:30-15:30 —World of Professions: field of medical research together with the Medis medical laboratory.
We will visually show the profession of a nurse and a laboratory technician in a medical laboratory, in particular
the main stages of work with tests, as well as work with a microscope: we will look at different types of human cells:
healthy and sick.
- September 02, 13:00-16:00; September 03, 12:30-3:30 p.m. —World of Professions: medical field.
About the importance of maintaining one’s health together with the “Zdorovya Poruch” Medical Centre.
Children and their parents will have the opportunity to communicate with doctors of various specialties, explore
medical instruments and equipment, and try themselves in the role of a medical worker:
- the family doctor in a playful way will conduct an examination with the children using a variety of equipment (tonometer, non-contact thermometer, pulse oximeter, otoscope (ear examination), throat examination with a
flashlight. It is important to allow the child to get to know and work with medical instruments in order to form his own sense of security with doctors; - the doctor will carry out ultrasound diagnostics (USD) of kids bellies upon request. He will comment on all actions, as well as the resulting image, in a way that is accessible to children. Such practice will form a sense of security in the child before examinations of this kind;
- kids will conduct the "electrocardiography" (ECG) study independently under the supervision of a
cardiologist, and the doctor will also explain the principle of recording the heart’s electrical impulses; - kids will conduct an ophthalmological examination of their vision independently under the supervision of an ophthalmologist. The doctor will use visual material (structure of the eye) to explain the principles of the eye;
- kids will independently conduct a study of the skin and its formations under the supervision of a
dermatologist. The doctor will use visual material (images of the skin) and explain the risks of skin lesions and the effect of sunlight on them; - the physical therapist will conduct active motor exercises with the kids aimed at maintaining posture using basic rehabilitation equipment (balancing pillows, limb weights, etc.) and physical therapy;
- a massage specialist will teach the basics of therapeutic massage. Children will be able to perform a massage on their own;
- master class “Correct Bandaging”: in a fun way, under the supervision of doctors, children will
bandage the hands, feet or head of their parents or friends.
And also specially for parents:
- the doctor will explain the advantage of express diagnostics in medical practice, because it is a way to get important answers in the doctor’s office “here and now”. Express tests for viral hepatitis B and C, HIV/AIDS, C-reactive protein, rotavirus infection, influenza or COVID-19 will be performed upon request for the demonstration of the method. Research will be done by specialists free of charge.
- parents will be able to get advice from a pediatrician on vaccine prevention. As a result of exploring the World of Professions, the kids can participate in a contest for knowledge of medical field with a possibility to win gifts: gift certificates, balloons, interesting medical coloring pages, colored plasters and other interesting surprises.
- September 03, 15:30-17:00 —World of professions: field of life safety.
“Let’s walk safely to school” together with the juvenile police of the Lviv region.
Program includes lectures and workshops on the following topics:
- rules of information "hygiene" (cyber security) and personal safety (at home, at school and on the street), safety in communication on the street;
- algorithm for responding to civil defense alert signals;
- mine safety measures, rules of behavior on the street in wartime and beyond;
- traffic rules and pedestrian safety together with juvenile police officers and the principles of a healthy lifestyle
(without alcohol and drugs), as well as an interesting experiment using a road traffic simulation track with alco-glasses.
In addition, children will be able to get to know the daily work of dog handlers with service dogs, will have the opportunity to try themselves as a dog handler and make friends with new four-legged friends.
- September 03, 17:00-20:00 — World of professions: Entertainment Field.
Master class “Preparing for school together!” with DoZirok studio. Participants will make their own animal bookmarks from colorful felt and ribbons.
